Chip and Libby are approximately 10-month-old Mustangs. When they were 6 months old, they were just at the age when they could be separated from their Mommy. We got them when they were around 6 weeks old. Way to young not to have their Mommy taking care of them!! They were separated so their Mommys could be sold to slaughter and they were orphaned so they could be sold to the same place. That is where we stepped in and rescued them from this unfortunate fate. When we first brought them to their new home they were starved and extremely weak. Well you can see now that they are on their way to living happy healthy lives. It is because of them and their friend Duchess, who didn't make it, that we have progressed into ensuring we help horses in need, one horse at a time!
