Chip - Adoption fee:

Chip is approximately a 2 year old Mustang. When he was 6 months old, he was just at the age when they can be separated from their Mommy. We got him and 2 other mustangs when they were around 6 weeks old. Way to young not to have their Mommy taking care of them!! They were separated so their Mommy’s could be sold to slaughter and they were “orphaned”. That is where we stepped in and rescued them from the same unfortunate fate. When we first brought Chip and the others to their new home they were starved and extremely weak. Well you can see now that he is on his way to living a happy healthy life. Chip does not have much training and with an experienced handler could prove to be a fun friend for someone with the time and love to start him properly.

Ginger - Adoption fee: Ginger is a registered thoroughbred horse. She is 16 year old, 16 hand, Bay mare and came to us already in foal. Due to a horse accident her owner needed to find a home and quick for Ginger. She was originally ridden at the races at a young age, although due to back complications this needed to stop. Ginger is an absolute love and we are grateful she has been a part of our ranch. She gave birth to Blaise after 13 months gestation on April 17, 2005. Ginger has not been ridden for a long time and would need lots of time preparing her for this adventure again. Since she has “roach back” two requirements are needed of any potential rider, someone under the weight of 130 pounds and an extra padded saddle.

Magdalena - Adoption fee: Maddy is a registered quarter horse. She is 12 years old and has had 9 babies. For the past 8 years of her life she has been a broad mare and had been left out in the pasture without much handling. She hadn’t even had anyone touch her feet in that long. So she was pretty shy and is very jumpy until we all started giving her more love and patient attention. After a lot of work Maddy enabled us to pick her feet up to clean them. We had to out bid a kill buyer to bring Maddy home. Maddy will make a great companion for any horse.
